International Women's Day celebrations (March 8) ensued shortly thereafter, when HAP was honored to partner with MassNow at Simmons University in Boston. The event featured Founder & President of the Massachusetts
Women's History Center Fredie Kay as a panelist. The MWHC is a trailblazing organization set to create a Massachusetts Women's Hall of Fame and history lovers can recommend
and vote for their candidates. HAP traces its collaborative origins with MWHC to 2019, when we were commissioned to create How Long Must We Wait?™ The performance premiered at Boston's Historic Faneuil Hall and recently played at Lawrence
Academy in an event sponsored by the Groton History Center.

2025 has already seen an impressive increase in school performance and artist residencies with HAP securing contracts with Massachusetts towns, and returning to some schools for nearly ten years running.
And that brings us to the momentous month of April, when commemorations for the sesquicentennial of the start of the American Revolution catapulted Boston into the international limelight. With 250th celebrations occurring the same weekend as the Boston Marathon, the relatively
small city of Boston drew more than 30,000 runners and their families/friends, along with an estimated 100,000 history lovers to the city and its environs. There was an intensity of energy so palpable that had not been felt since the 250th anniversary of the Boston Tea Party (2023), which also featured HAP in commemorating the 150th anniversary of the Women's Tea Party.
This past weekend, HAP Founder & Artistic Director Judith Kalaora, portraying "Rachel Revere," saw her husband "Paul" off on a midnight ride televised live. The reenactment was supplemented by a remarkable drone show over Boston Harbor, and culminated in the momentous reenactments of the Skirmishes at Lexington & Concord (Watch the livestream).
